Mid-Kaweah GSA Agencies

City of Visalia

The City of Visalia strives to assure that citizens are provided with a clean, safe, well-managed, financially sound, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally pleasant city. Both Visalia and Tulare rely 100% on groundwater as the water supply for residences, businesses and industry.
Tulare Irrigation District

The Tulare Irrigation District was one of the first irrigation districts in the State, it's prime purpose being to serve the water supply needs of the Tulare region's agricultural lands. Canal water is furnished from the local Kaweah River as well as the more distant San Joaquin River via the Friant-Kern Canal. Farmers supplement these sources with privately owned wells.

City of Tulare

The City of Tulare promotes a quality of life making Tulare the most desirable community in which to live, learn, play, work, worship and prosper. Both Tulare and Visalia rely 100% on groundwater as the water supply for residences, businesses and industry.
